Platform Overview

Last updated August 2026 · v1.4 · Changelog

A contractual description of the three core components of the Vixio platform, for the benefit of procurement, compliance, and information security reviewers.

A6.1 Regulatory Intelligence Content

The Vixio content platform is a continuously updated regulatory intelligence resource, built and maintained by Vixio's in-house editorial and analyst team. It serves as the authoritative source of regulatory knowledge underpinning all three Vixio product lines (GamblingCompliance, PaymentsCompliance, and Financial Services) and provides the corpus from which VIQ draws its responses.

Horizon Scanning

A continuously updated feed of regulatory developments sourced from regulatory bodies, government agencies, and official publications. Covers new legislation, consultations, enforcement actions, guidance updates, and policy announcements.

Analyst Insights

Expert analysis from Vixio's specialist analyst team: outlook pieces, deep-dive analysis, practical how-to guides, and thematic research designed to contextualise raw regulatory data.

Regulatory Databases

Structured, searchable databases of regulations, requirements, and obligations, organised by jurisdiction and topic. Each entry links to the underlying legislative source.

Regulatory Library

A comprehensive library of primary source legislative and regulatory documents: legislation, rules, guidance, consultation papers, and official publications.

Content standard: all content is for information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Subscribers are responsible for verifying accuracy and applicability.

A6.2 Workspace: Legislative Change Management

Workspace is Vixio's user orchestration layer for regulatory and legislative change management. It enables compliance teams to move from awareness of a regulatory change through to assessment, task management, obligation mapping, and reporting, within a single integrated environment.

1

Triage

The entry point for regulatory change management. New regulatory developments land in Triage for review and categorisation.

  • Inbound feed of regulatory developments from horizon scanning
  • Relevance and materiality assessment workflow
  • Routing to Boards or Regulatory Mapping
  • Audit trail of triage decisions
2

Boards

A Kanban-style workflow tool for managing compliance workload and tasks arising from regulatory change.

  • Kanban-style task and workload management
  • Task creation, assignment, and deadline tracking
  • Multi-workstream management across topics and jurisdictions
  • Integration with Triage: tasks created from triage decisions
3

Regulatory Mapping

The structured compliance framework at the heart of Workspace, built from three integrated components:

  • Legislation Library: curated subset of the Vixio Regulatory Library
  • Obligations Library: specific obligations extracted from legislation
  • Document and Policy Library: internal policy mapping to obligations
4

Reporting

Reporting and audit trail covering activities across all Workspace tools.

  • Activity reporting across Triage, Boards, and Regulatory Mapping
  • Audit trail of decisions, assignments, and changes
  • Exportable reports for internal governance and external review

Packaging: Workspace is available in tiered packages. Inclusions, user permissions, and pricing are set out in the Order Form.

A6.3 VIQ: AI Regulatory Intelligence

VIQ draws exclusively from Vixio's proprietary regulatory corpus. It does not access the open internet. All responses are grounded in Vixio's editorial content.

How VIQ works

VIQ is a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system. When a user submits a query, VIQ performs a semantic search of Vixio's regulatory corpus to retrieve the most relevant content. That content is passed, with the user's query, to a large language model which generates a structured, natural language response.
